Ana Escudero was born in Uruguay, where she began her vocal studies at the Escuela Universitaria de Música, the Conservatorio de Canelones and the Escuela Nacional de Arte Lírico with Lucía Leite, Cecilia Latorre, and Beatriz Pazos. In 2017, she enrolled at the Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris, studying under Camila Toro and Valérie Guillorit. She then obtained a Master's degree in Early Music Research and Performance, specialising in Baroque music at the Université Paris-Sorbonne and the Conservatoire Régional de Paris (CRR). In 2022, she joined the Young Artists Programme Pôle Lyrique d'Excellence, under the direction of soprano Cécile De Boever.
She has performed the roles of Madame Herz in Mozart's Der Schauspieldirektor at the Teatro Politeama, L'Amour in Gluck's Orphée et Eurydice at the Scène National de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines with the ensemble Les Paladins, and Angelo in Handel's La Resurrezione conducted by Iñaki Encina Oyón. She has recorded the role of Valetto in Monteverdi's L'Incoronazione di Poppea under the direction of Stéphane Fuget for the Château de Versailles Spectacles label, and she has appeared in numerous concerts with the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
In September 2023, she joined the opera studio at the Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg, where she played the role of Luisa in the musical The Fantasticks by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones. In 2025, she has performed the roles of Annina in Verdi's La Traviata, Tiffany in Les Trois Brigands by Didier Puntos, and La Première Fille des Pâturages in Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt.
In 2026, she will sing Sœur Constance in Francis Poulenc's Dialogue des Carmélites at the Marseille Opera.
